AhlulBayt News Agency: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli regime’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling for international accountability and solidarity with the Iranian government and people.
In an official statement, a copy of which was submitted to the UN Security Council by the OIC Observer Office for publication as an official UN document, the organization’s member states expressed full solidarity with Iran and demanded global condemnation of Israel’s actions. They also called for the occupying regime in Jerusalem to be held accountable for its violations.
According to IRNA, the statement from Islamic nations within the OIC denounced Israel’s recent attacks on Iranian territory, which led to the martyrdom of civilians, university scholars, and high-ranking military officials. It also strongly condemned Israel’s deliberate targeting of Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, warning that such actions posed a significant threat.
Furthermore, the statement characterized Israel’s aggression as a blatant disregard for international regulations and a severe violation of the UN Charter, fundamental principles of international law, and human rights.
